Dear Readers,
Welcome to Stepping Into Transition, the newsletter
designed to help you navigate your way through the
challenges of change into an authentic and empowered
life.
In my last issue, I outlined steps to develop intuition as a
tool for practical decision making. In this issue, I'd like to
take the concept of intuition further in showing how it
can connect you to a sense of mission or purpose in your
life.

| Intuition And Life Purpose | | | As I presented in last month's issue, some of the best
ways to develop your intuition is by scheduling quiet time
alone, and by noticing the energy patterns around your
decisions as well as the activities and people in your life.
Do these things lift you or deplete you? By choosing to
consciously clear out distractions and energy drains you
can create open space to connect with a greater vision
of purpose and meaning in your life. With more calm and open space in your life, you can
begin to pay attention to what you truly respond to with
energy and enthusiasm. By further committing to take
action upon what you are instinctively drawn to, new
experiences and opportunities will come your way. You can then ask yourself, Is there an underlying
connection between the people, events and
circumstances that I am encountering? Where are these
connections leading me? What is the wisdom I can draw
from this? Following the energy and connections will naturally bring
out your own unique talents and gifts. When you start
to apply those talents and gifts to the needs of the
world, your community, to others, you will gain clarity
about your purpose. Purpose will ultimately be found
when you match your deepest joys with what you can
contribute to the world around you.

| Focusing Question | | | A powerful question can shift you into an intuitive and
authentic direction. Here's a good one for you to use. "What are the influences, activities and people that
cause me to shine?" Write the answer down someplace where you can see it
and start taking action today. Trust that intuitive voice
inside you and watch what happens.

| This Month's Quote And Recommended Book | | | Quote "To have a great purpose to work for, a purpose larger
than ourselves, is one of the secrets of making life
significant, for then the meaning and worth of the
individual overflow his personal borders and survive his
death." -Will Durant Recommended Book Callings By Gegg Levoy can help you discover the
intuitive voice within and take action on what we are
most moved and called to do with our time and talent.
